GIVING IN

Somehow today’s post seems hard for me to begin but i’ll just go with the flow.

So many things have been happening to me and it just makes me laugh at how mysterious and funny God is. I don’t mean it in a bad way at all though.

Have you ever sat down and thought to yourself that all the things you have experienced in your life have brought you to the place you are now and to the people you surround yourself with? Well I certainly have, especially after rough situations.

Ever since I stopped worrying so much about the things I can’t change I have felt so peaceful and content with who I am. ” I’m a pencil in the hand of God”
This quote makes so much sense to me because thats really how it is when you give in and leave everything in the hands of the Lord. He knows what and who he puts in front of you at certain times in your life.

Lets face it, we all want to find the one who we want to spend the rest of our lives with. Fill your heart with Jesus first, truly love yourself for what you are. Take the pressure of finding the one off. Accept that sometimes people will only be with you for reasons, seasons, and lifetimes…

Love is extremely powerful. It can make you into a better and stronger person, or it can destroy you and turn you into a numb human being that believes there’s no such thing as real love. You begin to seek happiness in materialistic things or sometimes in people for short periods of times. But why settle for short term happiness? Learn to truly love yourself for what God made you to be! And that’s where I find myself now.

The reason why I said that God has a great sense of humor is because I had asked him for a certain thing and he’s responded to me in a way that I would have never imagined. Although my original plans didn’t work out, I feel extremely excited  about the way things are turning out. He’s molding me into that person that I know I can be and maybe those plans will turn out even better than the original ones, and for that I have no doubt.

DISCLAIMER: My life isn’t perfect. I invite anyone to “Go with the flow, con Yoliz” and live an organic life till our graduation to eternity…
